Hibernate 3 Notes
A few notes gained in the evaluation of Hibernate:
1. Try not use primitive property in your class whenever possible. Try to use wrapper class like
Integer, Long, etc, because hibernate might try to assign NULL value to primitive and failed.
2. in many-to-one parent/child mappings, it's crucial to have parent field instead of parent_id in child class, you will get
infamous illegalArgumentException if you put parent_id inside child class.
3. if you can't find anything useful with google, try yahoo.
