How to setup Ftp on Linux
The configuration file of vsftpd is /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf, you can modify it if you need, but we don't need change it if we only want the ftp server to work.
If you have installed vsftpd, then use,
#server vsftpd start
to start the service daemon.
to enable root to login ftp, you need to modify the file called,
/etc/vsftpd.ftpuser
